Iqap took active part in the 18th edition of Equiplast trade fair, presenting the company’s latest novelties which reflect that I+D has taken center stage.  It is worth highlighting the importance of the new nanotechnology lab,  a significant, state-of-the art technological investment  which consolidates the company’s position at the forefront of knowledge on modifying aesthetic and functional properties of polymers.
This International Plastic and Rubber event organised by Fira de Barcelona evidenced the sector’s economic recovery which confirms the tendency glimpsed at the 2014 edition,  thanks to the  upward trend of automotive and packaging markets which play a prominent role in the plastic sector.
Hall 3 located in the Gran Via exhibition centre of Fira de Barcelona, which covers  an area of 13,536 m2,  has become a large production space, housing 226 direct exhibitors who have proven the sector’s strength at present.
Professionals coming from a wide range of  sectors were drawn to what this year’s edition had to offer in terms of cross-sectional innovation to the production chain at large: raw materials, plastics and chemicals, additives, process automations, intelligent connectivity and the latest technological developments applied to a broad range of industrial sectors.
