A Masterbatch is a concentrate of colorants or additives properly dispersed into a carrier polymer, which is then blended into the natural polymer to be coloured or modified when processed to obtain molded plastic parts, yarns, cable jacketing, etc.
A Compound is this same polymer already modified or coloured, ready to be processed.
Masterbatches confer specific properties to plastic materials and synthetic textiles such as colour or other alterations, according to final applications.
